Salary for Librarians is $45,552-$58,152 per year. MINIMUM QUAILIFICATIONS LIBRARIAN
Education: Equivalent to graduation from college and completion of one additional year of graduate study in a library school accredited by the American Library Association. (Registration as a graduate student in a library school accredited by the American Library Association will admit applicants to the examination, but they must submit evidence of completion before they can be considered eligible for appointment.)

Note: Applicants not currently employed with CDCR will be subject to a background investigation prior to hire. The investigation will consist of a pre-employment questionnaire, fingerprinting, and an inquiry to the Department of Justice to disclose criminal records. Additionally, CDCR employees are required to complete a health survey and pass an annual Tuberculosis test.
