Media Outreach and Learning Spaces Librarian

The University of Minnesota Libraries seeks an enthusiastic, innovative, service-oriented professional to serve as Media Outreach and Learning Spaces Librarian who will work with faculty and other campus professionals to enhance the development of 21^st century literacy, that set of abilities and skills where aural, visual and digital literacy overlap. This position provides vision for the development of services and advocacy for the integration of new media technologies and delivery methods into courses. This individual will also provide vision for the creation of new learning spaces and services in support of student learning.

A master's degree from an ALA accredited library school or equivalent degree/experience combination is required. Preferred qualifications include experience working with a wide range of visual and audio formats and standards, and experience working with instructional technologies in a multi-platform environment.
