[Posted 2008.7.11] OCLC Overview: OCLC is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Product Analyst, Network Enabled Workflow.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Networked Library Services, the Senior Product Analyst, Network Enabled Workflow, is responsible for developing and managing a suite of network-level workflow management services available to libraries. The product under development includes network services for managing library operations and resources, and the creation of network benefits through data sharing and access for participating libraries.
The Senior Product Analyst, Network Enabled Workflow, needs a
broad knowledge of virtually all aspects of library workflow-including
technical services, access and delivery services, patron management,
and system administration-as it is performed on any number of
systems, such as the ILS, ERM system, or other library automation
software packages.
This knowledge should include an understanding of the library automation marketplace, library open source software development, and librarian and patron workflow tools.
The Senior Product Analyst, Network Enabled Workflow, will be a cross-functional leader who works comfortably in a matrix management environment. She/he will accomplish a great deal of work through other people and other functional departments.
