The Ocean County Library, recipient of the 2007 National Medal for Museum and Library Services awarded by the IMLS, serves over 550,000 residents from the 33 municipalities that comprise Ocean County. The Library is located between the exploding New York and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. We enjoy an excellent reputation with the citizens and government of the County. Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
