The National Library of Medicines Reference & Web Services
Section is recruiting for a librarian with the desire to work
on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. We look
for librarians with an aptitude and enthusiasm for developing
websites and managing systems.
As a member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to:
*Develop and support Web 2.0 technologies like blogs and wikis
*Manage websites, including http://www.nlm.nih.gov and the NLM
Intranet
*Manage and support applications such as Vivisimo, NLMs
search engine application and TeamSite, NLMs primary web
content management system
*Collaborate with the MedlinePlus management team to ensure usability
and customer satisfaction on http://medlineplus.gov, NLMs
consumer health website
*Serve as technical liaison to NLMs IT department
