Protégé Application

Thank you for your interest in participating in the APALA mentoring program as a new librarian or library school student. All protégés must be or agree to become APALA members. Please complete this application by January 4, 2013. Please note: If we are unable to find a suitable mentor for you by January 18, 2013 we will try our best to find one for you later in the year or the following year.

(Applications are now closed. An announcement will be made when next year’s cohort begins accepting applications.) 

Thank you for taking the time to complete this application. We will be pairing you with a mentor best suited for your career goals. Once you have selected a mentor, please make the first contact with your mentor. We encourage protégés and mentors to meet at the APALA Social at the ALA Annual Conference or other professional conferences.
