Catch up with old and new friends at the next APALA dinner gathering on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at 7pm at Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant <http://enjoyveggie.com/>, in San Francisco Chinatown at 839 Kearny St. between Jackson & Washington Sts. Parking available at Portsmouth Square <http://www.sfpsg.com/> or off-street parking. Usually we get about a dozen librarians & library students we have a lot of fun exchanging news about our work, lives and play. Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant has been one of our favorite gatherings. Their food is delicious and reasonbly-priced. Our vegetarian connection, Janet Tom, will select several dishes, some with mock meats, which are made from soy, yam or seitan. Price is only $20 which includes rice, tea, tax and tip.
