This APIA Heritage month, we at APALA would like to talk about food! Food is an important way that we take care of our families and communities, show love, and keep our culture and traditions alive. We can also use it to explore new possibilities and build new connections to history, culture, and allies. This spirit of remembering, exploring, and supporting APIA cultures and communities is one reason that we love APALA Community Kitchen– because it’s an opportunity to do all these things through food.
