Statement and Advocacy Committee

Committee Charge:

Respond to current events and issues based on a statement creation process. Statement(s) support equity and inclusion in library collections and access, particularly with regard to supporting marginalized communities and identities. This may include publishers/creators of collections and materials, which may not be born digital nor have digital counterparts.

Maintain and update APALA Inclusive Language Guidelines.
