APALA Needs You: APALA Executive Board Nominations Open!

Dear APALA members:

Are you interested in taking the next step in your leadership career? Do you know amazing members who would be awesome to serve on our Executive Board as APALA’s Vice-President/President-Elect, Treasurer, or a Board Member-at-Large (2 positions)? APALA needs your energy, passion, and skills!

If you would like to nominate yourself or a fellow member, please fill out the APALA Nomination form and please be sure you have received the nominee’s consent first. You can also reach out to Annie Pho, chair of the nominating committee (anniepho@gmail.com), so that the Nominating Committee can follow up.

If you or a fellow APALA member is interested in serving, please complete this nomination form by January 31, 2024. 

The APALA Executive Board consists of the:

  1. President
  2. Vice-President/President Elect
  3. Secretary
  4. Treasurer
  5. Members at Large (4 positions)
  6. Immediate Past President
  7. Executive Director (ex officio)

The Executive Board serves as the management board of APALA and as the decision-making body, acts for APALA in the administration of established policies and programs. For more information, please follow the links above to the respective position descriptions and responsibilities. APALA’s Executive Board meets once per month, from July through June each year. Current APALA membership required.

If you are a current or former APALA Board Member and are willing to answer questions and/or share your experience with members who may be interested in standing for election, please reply to the listserv so that others may reach out to contact you directly.
