Dr. Sarah Park Dahlen, Associate Professor in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, has been selected to serve on the National Book Award Jury in the Category of Young People’s Literature. Dahlen is serving alongside Dr. Claudette McLinn (chair), justin a. reynolds, Kyle Lukoff, and 2022 NBA winner Sabaa Tahir.

The College of Education at the University of Illiois at Urbana-Champaign has created professional development modules for K12 educators seeking to learn about and learn how to teach Asian American history. The TEAACH modules are free, flexible, and asynchronous.
